This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes how you may and may not use the SkillMonster platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.

Operator: SkillMonster is a global supplemental learning platform. Services on this site are operated by AdzMonster Private Limited, India.

Permitted Uses

Booking and attending one-on-one or group learning sessions

Creating and teaching live classes on subjects within your verified expertise

Taking quizzes and assessments for self-evaluation

Communicating professionally with mentors and learners

Sharing educational resources within session contexts

Reviewing your session history and requesting legitimate refunds

Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited on SkillMonster:

Harassment & Abuse

Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users

Using discriminatory language based on race, gender, religion, caste, disability, or sexual orientation

Sharing or requesting explicit or sexually inappropriate content

Fraud & Misrepresentation

Creating fake profiles or impersonating other users or institutions

Falsifying qualifications, credentials, or reviews

Soliciting payment outside the platform to circumvent fees

Content Violations

Sharing copyrighted content without permission

Uploading malicious software, spam, or phishing links

Promoting academic dishonesty (e.g., offering to complete assignments for students)

Platform Abuse

Attempting to scrape, reverse-engineer, or exploit platform systems

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions

Reselling platform access to third parties

Consequences of Violations

Warning

Minor first-time violations may result in a formal warning and content removal.

Temporary Suspension

Repeated or moderate violations result in a temporary account suspension (7–30 days).

Permanent Ban

Severe violations (harassment, fraud, illegal content) result in permanent account termination and potential legal action.

Use the in-session report button or contact us. All reports are confidential and reviewed within 24 hours.

This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violations may also constitute breaches of applicable law. SkillMonster reserves the right to update this policy at any time with notice to users.
